SUMMARY

Looking for a skilled individual who can independently complete general carpentry tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to:

  1. General Conditions
    1. Install temporary partitions, railings, and enclosures
    2. Install jobsite signage
    3. Install jobsite safety items
    4. Maintain temporary fencing and other barricades
    5. Perform site cleanup
  2. Selective Demolition
    1. Ceilings
    2. Partitions
    3. Flooring
    4. Doors, frames, and hardware
    5. Casework, cabinets, and countertops
  3. Woods and Plastics
    1. Wood framing
    2. Wood blocking
    3. Install casework, cabinets, and countertops
  4. Insulation
    1. In-wall insulation
    2. Above ceiling insulation
  5. Doors and Windows
    1. Install a variety of doors, frames, and hardware
  6. Finishes
    1. Metal stud framing
    2. Hanging and finishing drywall
    3. Installing acoustical ceiling grid and tile
  7. Specialties
    1. Install restroom accessories
    2. Install restroom partitions
    3. Install interior signage

SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able to complete and perform the following activities and tasks:

  • Climb ladders and scaffolding while maintaining balance
  • Lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more
  • Great hand-eye coordination
  • Walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Use power tools and other hand tools
  • Perform math to complete the construction tasks
  • Bend over, stoop, kneel, or work at heights as required
  • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents
  • Able to work and adjust to weather conditions
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
